On the occasion that the Thai Furniture Industry Club, Federation of Thai Industries, has prepared the Directory for the year 2000-2001, under the title "Thai furniture in the 21st Century", which will be distributed at both the International and Domestic Trade Fairs.
     I strongly agree with the idea of producing and publicizing the mentioned directory. Besides disseminating the information of Thai furniture industry, it will also demonstrte the Thai manufacturers' competitiveness to the world market. Moreover, the Directory will act as a supportive tool in stimulating the product development into international standard level, which in turn will boost up the demand of Thai furniture and increase its market share.
     I would like to congratulate the Thai Furniture Industry Club, Federation of Thai Industries for its effort and determination in the metter, which will definitely benefit Thai producers, exporters and the country to some extent.
     Lastly, I wish that the formation of this directory will achieve its expected goals and be advantageous to the people in the import-export sector.
